We are always looking for horses that can take part in demonstrations. Whether your horse is unhandled, difficult to catch, is ready to be started, headshy or just tricky on the long lines - please get in touch and we would be happy to help.

Attending or hosting a demonstration - what can I expect?

Held across the UK and abroad, Laira's demonstrations are a great way to learn how effective this approach really is. During the demonstrations Laira works with a variety of issues including

• Starting the young horse - handling, halter training / correct leading, Join-Up, first saddle, mouthing, long-lining
• Working with spooky horses - helping horses to overcome fears of common everyday obstacles such as plastic bags, clippers and water
• Catching the uncatchable - demonstrating the use of advance and retreat with tricky horses to catch
• Long Lining / Double Line Lunging - demonstrating and discussing the benefits of this method
• Handling feet - training horses for the farrier

Demonstrations are designed to be fun and interactive and are a great introduction to the psychology of good horsemanship.
