1. Northamptonshire, UK: Complete the 10-day Introductory course
2. Home Field Study - Complete distance learning modules and send videos for grading. By gaining access to lots of different horse personalities and practicing what you have learnt on the courses with trained horses you will improve your skills tenfold. The horses can teach you more than any human can ever teach you but having the right guidance to start with is key
3. Northamptonshire, UK: Introductory Review and Exam (4 days) - this consists of written and practical exams. Successful completion will give you the Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship

- USA: Travel to America for the Advanced Course at Flag is Up Farm, California
- Home Field Study - Return home and complete distance learning modules. Send videos to Flag is Up farm for grading
- USA: Advanced Review and Exam (2 weeks) - this is your chance to be examined by Monty Roberts at Flag is Up Farm, California
- USA: Internship (3 months) - after successful completion of the Advanced Exams, you will be invited back for an internship where you will teach Monty's methods to students from all over the world. Successful completion of the internship will give you the Certified Monty Roberts Instructorship
